A website for your trade business.
Your order book is full. That is exactly why now is the right time for a website — not to win more work, but for hiring, and for the day the order book isn't full anymore.
Why a busy business still needs a site
The most common reason isn't winning customers, it's staff. Anyone looking for an apprenticeship or a job today looks the business up first. If they find nothing, the impression is that the business barely exists — and the application goes elsewhere.
The second reason is referrals. Your customers recommend you, but they need something to forward. A phone number without context is a weaker recommendation than a link showing what you've done.
The third is the check beforehand: for a job worth several thousand euros, almost everyone looks up who they're letting into their home. What they find settles the first impression before you've said a word.
What the site has to do
Four things; everything else is decoration.
References with images
Before and after, three to five jobs is enough. It's the only proof a trade business really needs — and the only one no agency can invent for you.
A careers page
What you're looking for, what you offer, how to get in touch. It can be plain; it just has to exist and be findable on Google.
Service area and trades
Which places you travel to and what exactly you do. "Plumbing, heating, bathrooms" with place names gets searched for; "your partner for all things home" does not.
Contact without a detour
Phone number large and directly dialable. Your customers call — a form as the only route costs you enquiries.
What I'm not claiming here
For vehicle rental and garages I have genuine industry knowledge, because I've operated software for them since 2023. That doesn't hold for the trades, and I won't claim it — on a site that advertises verifiability, an invented specialism would be the most expensive possible mistake.
What I bring instead: a fixed price, a fixed scope and a first version in 72 hours. For a trade website that isn't a bad trade — it doesn't need industry consulting, it needs references, a phone number and a correct address on Google.
